Travis Scott Wants to Do Marvel’s ‘Blade’ Soundtrack

Travis Scott is ready to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The hip-hop star shared his desire on X, formerly known as Twitter, last week. “Woke up thinking I would love to do the soundtrack to Blade,” he wrote.

While this wouldn’t be his first foray into film, it would be the rapper’s entryway into Marvel. For instance, Scott’s “The Plan” played over the credits for Tenet in 2020.

The phase five MCU movie will reportedly star Academy Award winner Mahershala Ali and was originally set to release this fall on Nov. 3, but has been delayed twice and is now expected Feb. 14, 2025.

The original Blade starring Wesley Snipes premiered in 1998.

Scott is about to embark on a North American tour for his new album Utopia. The concert event kicks off Oct. 11 in Charlotte, N.C., but is notably skipping his hometown of Houston.

The city was the site of the Astroworld Festival tragedy in 2021 where 10 people died during his show. No criminal charges were filed against the rapper, but there are several civil lawsuits still pending.

The Messenger reached out to Marvel, but they did not offer comment.
