About the event: Sociologist and associate professor at Sweden’s University of Uppsala, in her lecture, will explore the mechanisms and processes through which social protection schemes contribute to the empowerment of women, and will analyse the processes of empowerment and oppression facilitated within the same framework. Prof Suruchi will be sharing insights from schemes such as MNREGA.
