Travis Scott Would “Love” To Create Marvel Studio’s ‘Blade’…

[ad_1]

Travis Scott wants to create Marvel Studio’s Blade soundtrack. On Monday (Sept. 4), the Houston producer took to Twitter to manifest a dream of creating some music magic for Marvel. “Woke up thinking I would love to do the soundtrack to Blade,” La Flame typed.

The tweet was met with approval from his fans. Immediately his fanbase began to salivate, thinking about what the collaboration could sound like. “If this actually works out, I’ll be beyond excited. Blade is already one of my most anticipated MCU projects; Travis doing the soundtrack just feels right,” one user said.

“Honestly, if Travis Scott’s soundtrack for BLADE would be anything like ‘The Plan’ for [Christopher Nolan’s] TENET (the limit does not exist when it comes to how many times I’ve listened to that track), then you know what? Let him cook,” another xtweeted

On the other hand, some folks were not so receptive to the Cactus Jack x Daywalker vision. “No. No. NO. That Blade opening scene at the club, the music is so fire we don’t need your auto-tune a** going ‘ooOooOoooOooAaaaaaOooo,’” somebody typed in protest. “Don’t let this man anywhere near that movie,” another person fired off.

As for the movie, Blade is set to hit theaters Feb. 14, 2025. Mahershala Ali will star as the rebooted MCU version of Marvel’s famous Daywalker. The MCU film will also star Mia Goth, Aaron Pierre, and Delroy Lindo. Yann Demange, who has worked on Lovecraft Country, will handle the movie’s director duties. Michael Starrbury of When They See Us will pen the script.

Ali spoke to Tight Rope in 2020 about playing Blade in the MCU and how he threw his name in the ring. “Since they were having conversations about bringing it back into being, I just wanted to be considered for it because I definitely had a connection, at least in my mind, to Wesley Snipes going back to high school… People used to joke and say that we looked alike and all this stuff. I just brought it up as someone who really wanted to take on that role and tackle that.“
