New & Improved Glyph Interface

The enhanced Glyph Interface has more LED segments to allow greater customisability and functionality. The Glyph Interface can now serve as a visual countdown and progress tracker for ride or delivery services. It also offers additional functionalities such as a volume checker, and timer. When receiving a notification from selected contacts or apps, the top-right LED segment will remain on until it has been addressed.

When to Buy?

Phone (2) will go on open sale in India on July 21, 12 PM onwards, via Flipkart and select retail outlets. Interested customers can also get official Phone (2) accessories including a Phone (2) Case at Rs 1,299, Screen Protector at Rs 999 and a Power (45W) Adaptor at Rs 2,499.

Nothing recently had a $96 million fundraising round – led by Highland Europe, with participation from existing investors GV (Google Ventures), EQT Ventures and C Capital, along with house music supergroup Swedish House Mafia. With this, its total funding has reached $250 million, as the company also crossed selling 1.5 million products.

The pre-booking of Nothing Phone (2) – which opened on June 29 on Flipkart – had an overwhelming response. All pre-order passes for Phone (2) were sold out. The company said that is working on making more pre-order passes available soon.

Ahead of the Phone (2) launch, Nothing announced a new black variant for its Hi-Res Audio certified and noise-cancellation earbuds, Ear (2), in India. Ear (2) black will be available at Rs 9,999 and will go on sale from July 21 via Flipkart and select retail stores.

Future Plan

Nothing is planning to launch five exclusive service centres in five cities by 2023 and 20 more exclusive service centres across India by 2024. It is also increasing its customer service team by 50 per cent, ensuring continued excellence in services and customer satisfaction.The company mentioned that the new service centre will be hosting service camps for Nothing customers periodically and customers can buy accessories, care packs for accidental/liquid damage, and warranty upgrade packs as well at these centres.

A Class Apart

Nothing recently announced the opening of its first exclusive Customer Service Centre in India – scheduled to open in Bengaluru in August to provide after-sales services and customer support. The company also said that it is expanding its coverage of service centres from 230 to over 300 by the end of July, serving 19000 pin codes across the country.

Will India Get A Nothing Kiosk?

In December 2022, Nothing opened its first retail space – Nothing Store Soho – which is thriving in London’s cultural hub. Now, the company has come up with the Nothing Kiosk in New York where Phone (2) will be available from July 13, 7 pm onwards.
